Wait your turn

You know the saying that goes “patience is a virtue”, yes, a virtue that most of us lack. We often perceive waiting as a bad thing. Well, I am here to tell you that waiting is in fact a good thing. We are so quick to give up or get discouraged when things do not go our way. I do not know about you guys, but I tend to question God, “God why me?” You cannot even begin to imagine how many times I have gone on my knees, how many times I have laid in bed, holding my son tight, shaking, and questioning God, trying to seek answers. Desperately in need for him to say something. Even if it is just a reassurance that everything will eventually make sense. But hey God´s ways are not our ways right.

As a Christian, I hold on to the word of God in times of despair and trust me when I say a lot of people, who went on to be great and did great things had to wait. Joseph was betrayed by his own brothers and waited years in a prison before becoming a great man in a foreign land. Abraham had to wait for his son. David waited to become king. Job waited through his ordeals and even Jesus had to wait before starting his ministry. So why is it hard for me to wait? There are days where I wake up tired, exhausted, and not in a right frame of mind to cater to anyone because my energy is just drained. That is what happens when you feel like there is no light in sight and I have had a lot of those days in the past few months.

Sometimes its hard to turn to God when you are in a crisis which is why you must be in constant communication with God so when you hit rock bottom you are prepared to face your crisis. when you hold on to God, it makes it easier to keep the faith and as result of that, you end up asking God questions instead of questioning God.

THE PAIN THAT YOU HAVE BEEN FEELING CANNOT COMPARE TO THE JOY THAT IS COMING

ROMANS 8:18

In your period of asking these questions, you may not get the answers you are looking for because God may choose to be silent at that time for various reasons, and even if he chooses to be silent, trust in him that your waiting will not be in vain because he never forgets his children and every person who had to wait in the bible was exceedingly blessed. So my lovelies for those of you out there who are waiting, keep holding on, keep the faith and draw closer to God for one thing is certain, there is light at the end of every tunnel and No, God has not forsaken you. The battle will not last forever. Endure the wait, let your strength be renewed and be prepared for the blessings coming your way. If you are in a place where God is blessing you, enjoy it, be grateful and get even closer to God so you are prepared for any battle that may come your way. Now chin up and read Isaiah 41:10.

Really Gods time is the best. He’s known us even before we were conceived. We need to let go and let God perform His magic. To us humans it might seem like God is not answering but He truely is.
When He starts you’ll be amazed. Pray fir more strength. Thanks for the write up 👏🏾
