Have you ever experienced love in its pure form? That deep unconditional love. That love that chooses you over and over again, everyday without fail, no matter what? I love Love. Being loved by the right person is such a huge blessing I believe everyone should experience in their lifetime. I love romance, I love to see people being healthily in love with their significant other, I catch myself wishing my love life was like that Instagram couple even though i am aware that i do not know what their lives actually is like. I just love love.
That love that is beautiful, everything rosy, everything flows. That love that randomly sends you flowers and chocolate because they just want to make you smile. That love that reassures you and speaks your love language. That love that takes your breath away in every sense. Sounds amazing right, like in the movies, that love that always feels good, the love that is always laughing and travelling, the love that is not hard, the love that does not pick on your fault but sees the good always. Well, that is not the love I want. Do not get me wrong though, I love that love and we all deserve that love.

I, however, want to feel pure love with someone who recognizes that love is not just a feeling but more of a state of mind. A conscious decision. A person who knows that love and relationship is hard work and is willing to put in the work for me and with me. A person who recognizes my flaws but chooses to stay and work on them with me. I want that love that is not shaken by temporary situations. Love that prays for me and with me, love that is kind to me, love that does not compete or make me feel like I am competing, love that chooses to chose me. Love that respects me, love that respects what I bring to the table, love that understands that our bond will be tested but is strong enough to pass whatever comes our way and come out even stronger. Love that does not give up. Love that speaks life. I want that 1. Corinthians type of love with a man, who is led by God. A man not led by God cannot lead me in this life, I tell you that for a fact!
I deserve that love because I want to give that same love to someone’s son as well. You deserve that love that love as well. Both the “easy” love, where everything is rosy and the love, that is a decision you make when times get hard. We all deserve to be loved by the right person who chooses us repeatedly. If you have found that type of love already, then you are so blessed and if you have not, start by giving yourself that love that you want to give someone else. Be kind to yourself, motivate yourself, clap for yourself, choose yourself, love yourself. Practice your love language on yourself by yourself, because how are you going to love another unconditionally if you cannot even do so to yourself. Now Chin up and read Isaiah 41:10.
